According to Sky Sports, Chelsea are still trying to convince Victor Osimhen to join the club, but he has rejected their initial wage proposal. Osimhen is waiting to decide between Chelsea and Al-Ahli, but Al-Ahli have agreed to terms with Napoli and are moving on to sign Ivan Toney. Chelsea have also made bids for Jadon Sancho, a loan with a buy option and an obligation to buy, and an agreement is expected to be reached between Chelsea and Manchester United.

Sancho has given a "green light" to joining Chelsea, and personal terms aren't an issue. Chelsea want to sign Sancho to use him as a deputy to Cole Palmer or Christopher Nkunku in the number 10 role. If Chelsea can't complete a last-minute deal for either Jadon Sancho or Victor Osimhen, they have a few emergency options on the market. Memphis Depay, Anthony Martial, and Iker Muniain are all free agents that Chelsea could sign if they can't get their hands on a forward before the window closes.
